FWIW I don't consider you concocting a lie that I'm an alcoholic to be
"joking around." There is nothing "funny" about saying things of that
nature that are not true.

Who are you talking about here. I've always considered GA to
be outspoken, but honest. The only time I've noted him
to be less than outspoken is in reference to his departure
as a moderator of the ill-fated SMM newsgroup. (A characteristic
he shared with Mark S.).

I was pretty sure you weren't talking about GA---and my post indicates
that I didn't think the description fit him.

I screwed up the attributions but it still should have been clear I wasn't talking

True. But that didn't help me decide who you WERE talking about.

You're smarter than you play on usenet Borgerson so I'll just attribute your
post to you trying to yank my chain (like you do with everyone else
posting here) yet again. No go. I'm sure you'll live to try again
another day...and fail...as usual.

I don't think it's that easy to yank your chain. Since the departure
of he whose name will not be written, you've seemed pretty calm.
