Depends upon what is meant by "manipulation" and to what purpose the "manipulation" is being directed. If the woman is "manipulating" the man to gain things selfishly for herself, then that would, of course, be reprehensible however if the woman is "manipulating" the man so he does something that is beneficial for the family...or even for the man himself (say going to get a prostrate exam when he may not want to)...then there's nothing to complain about...is there ?
