Re: paying lower support

By the way, aren't you or your employer in business to make a profit? Grow
up.

WOW! This is just what we need, more lawyers f-ing up the lives of
children, for their own personal profit.
It's all about greed to the point of thinking, "To hell with the kids,
it's all about me."
It's all about the men who are trying to ruin the life of their ex and
don't accept the fact that the children are usually the ones who suffer
the most from that kind of thinking.

I am a man and if I had an ex-wife who had custody of my children I would
do all I could to make sure my children were taken care of.

Yes, there are fathers who have been ordered to pay HUGE amounts of child
support as well as ones who pay almost nothing. One man I worked with pays
over a thousand dollars a month for his one child, about 1/4 his monthly
salary, that's a bit on the high side.
I also know a man who was ordered to pay the small token amount of $422
total a month to help support his four children. I am the stepfather of
those four children and can tell you that $422 is but a small drop in the
bucket. That figure is so low because he can not keep a job for very long
and can't get a job better then a clerk at 7-11 or Blockbuster which is
rather sad for a man who is pushing 40. He even, in 2004, got fired from a
record setting 7 jobs in one short year.

If you want to do what is in the best interest of the children then you
would work towards a fair support program, not simply what is in the best
financial interest of the father - at the expense of his children. It is
sad that this happens.

However, you are in the business of law-for-profit so I feel that my words
will fall upon deaf ears.
