the attraction of submissiveness. Even when men do like 'feistiness" in a
woman it is usually as a prelude to her eventual submission. They may like
a challenge on the way but they want to end up in charge. It is rare for
men to like being dominated by women and I see no indications that GA is
one of these exceptions.

Jayne, in past posts, you've explained how you were an out-of-control
woman. You lacked self-discipline. Your husband wanted you to be
a partner in your marriage. However, you demanded he "take you in hand"
because you couldn't function without someone excerting control over
you. So, instead of having a marriage designed as a partnership,
you insisted on a marriage in which dominance and submission,
in other words...powertripping...plays a significant role. Hubby
excerts the power, while you submit to his wishes.

In my own social circle, the men like women who are strong,
self-disciplined and who can be trusted to make wise decisions
on their own for the good of the whole family. These men like women
who can be relied upon to be real partners in life. They like the fact
that their wives will and can share in the power and in the decision-
making process. All this requires that their women be self-disciplined
and willing to accept at least half of the responsibilities.

To this day, you still refuse to grow up to become that self-disciplined,
strong and mature woman. You rely on your husband to guide and
control you. You insist he treat you like a child. I don't think it is
right that your husband has treats you like a child. He's not your father.
He is supposed to be your husband! As a married woman,
you have a responsibility to treat him as such! You're not Daddy's
little girl anymore.
