In fact, most did: Half of the Americans who fought
in the civil war wanted to dissolve the Union!
And don't omit those loyalists who fought for their
country during the Revoltionary war! ;-) They have
"gone to the other side". It's now called Canada
and look at the feminist mess _they're_ now in.
Yeah, ten years straight of federal budget surpluses,
Come for the beer, stay for the high taxes!
an appreciating currency,
If trends continue, Canadians might earn as much as Americans...
someday. (Assuming they aren't below the poverty line or unemployed,
both numbers Andre forgot to brag about that are bigger than the USA)
a positive balance of trade,
Timber!!!
health
care for all
So good, it's worth waiting for (and waiting...)
( Run more efficiently than the non system in
the US ),
So inefficient, Canadians come south of the border to get it...
better employment growth
When you're behind, brag about catching up! Good one!
I guess you could say America has "better import growth" than Canada
too. (The silver lining to a weakening currency. That Canadian timber
is getting more expensive by the day...)
and a shrinking
national debt ( Say hello to the US's Tenth *Trillion* of
debt. ).
The US economy is much larger. We spend the equivalent of your
"surplus" on movie popcorn...
Upper Mexico should be in such a mess...
Americans don't have an inferiority complex about OUR southern
neighbors...
We men are damned if we do, damned if we don't.
Especially if we dare to not be USians, apparently...
How brave of you to dare comparing yourself to us incessantly to us!
Maybe our schoolchildren will know how to find Canada on the map someday
to punish you (granted, they're having almost as hard a time finding
their own country, products of a nationalized educational system that
people aren't in a rush to reproduce with the healthcare system...)
