WOMEN continue to make the most divorce applications, while the age of
divorcing couples keeps rising, according to new statistics.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics has released divorce figures from
2006 which show the number of couples getting divorced was falling
everywhere except South Australia and Western Australia.
