"all men are created equal" standard which may or may not include
women but excluded from the beginning heriditary aristocracies and
royalties. However, it remains true that in the 21st Century, people,
both women and men, are still getting special treatment and special
respect simply because they happen to have inherited a title. It's
really an odd phenomenon to think some people are better than others
for this reason.
