Well, unless the law has changed substantially since I moved north, that is incorrect. You cannot strike back out of revenge, you could only legally "hit back" if you feared that Grizzlie were going to hit you again. If he slapped you then turned and walked away, you could not legally pursue and attack him...


But he wouldn't have time to turn and walk away.

Oh I expect that if Grizzlie "slapped" you, it would take you some time to get back to your feet, by which time he'd have walked well away...
