Well, the more complex, though often not very emotionally satisfying,
answer is that
relative few people can be either right or wrong 100% of the time. In
a time of US
political polarization ( Which the pop media, CNN and Fox News both
included love,
because they are, first of all, teevee... ), the idea that one can
agree with the views
of another, when that other has also expressed other views that one
disagrees with,
is not a common one any more.

coward who sold out the boys and men of his country for money and
fame, doesn't mean he's the 100 percent Bad Guy

indeed, his comments above are right on, and to dismiss his valid and
desperately needed whomp on femamerica based on his
other rightwing nutcase blabbering is lazy and stupid

as you infer, it is precisely this kneejerkism of BOTH the lefties and
righties that drags us all down -- you talk to these people and soon
discover they don't actually have VIEWS, they have an ideo-political
PLATFORM that they follow slavishly down to the slivers of each plank

and the more 'educated' they are, the tighter they clutch their poli-
blankees around them!

they're only point of total agreement being extermination of anything

And, its shameful that such a view should now be considered so
