Who and what is Patriarchy? This is the best kept secret in Feminist
Amerika. Whatever patriarchy was or is long ago sold out to the
matriarchy. I suspect the leading religious institutions and
corporate elite would be considered the leading remnants of the
patriarchy. Both now depend on feminist largesse, which in effect now
make them the matriarchy but with powerless male figureheads like the
monarchy in the 19th and 20th century.
The Church now expands it's power overseas and at home using feminist
government social programs. "Faith based social programs"? Give me a
break. Even the Great Society programs had the religious heavily
integrated and leading the effort. Our Chruches are in fact
matriarchal.
You've got that one nailed Tom...... I still belong to the Church and
attend regularly, but most of the guys that go there would probably have
no idea what you're talking about. The pastors tell the men that they
need to step up and be the "spiritual leaders" of the household, and
become more active, etc. but the unsaid part is that most of these guys
would have to go meekly ask their wives permission first LOL
What a joke......
I still go, but not because of any sense of getting anything out of it
as far as men's "traditional" roles go - the Church abandoned that long
ago. Modern American society does not countenance the idea of men being
the heads of the house anymore. The time that was quietly dropped (was
it about the 60s or 70s????) was probably the time a lot of things
started going to s**t in this culture. And sad to say, the Church went
along with it, along with everything else. Church attendance and
membership is a great deal for married women, for obvious reasons, less
so for men
