Liar.
Oh, we know who the *true* liar is... (free clue: it's not me)
I didn't say anyone couldn't find them. What I said was..*SLAP*
WHAT YOU SAID WAS:
"In this threadhttp://tinyurl.com/2nnesq
from the 3rd of April we see you start off using message ID links in
your lame sig which will only work reliably for someone using the same
newsreader on the same machine the links were made on.
<1175856636.569335.208...@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>"
Yes? Whats wrong with that statement? I can't see that it contradicts
anything else I've said.
Oh geeez.. First you say "I didn't say anyone couldn't find them" THEN you say.. "using
message ID links in your lame sig which will only work reliably for someone using the same
newsreader on the same machine the links were made on"
So, do article ids reference messages that anyone can view, or do they not?
But, if someone is a 'tard' for not knowing how to use Google's
advanced search feature then I guess that makes you a 'tard' as well.
I don't need to use it because I have a reader, like most competent individuals.
And I have newsreaders too. But I choose to use Google groups to post
to *this* group for a specific reason.
And what might that "specific reason" be?
Two days ago you said this
Wow, you can't even keep track of the date, tard.
Twas YESTERDAY.
I'm in the UK. Allow for the time difference Ms Net-wizz.
Not a net-wiz, loon. Article ids don't exactly qualify as elaborate *tech stuff*.
I don't care where you are; I'm in US... and since you are referring to something *I* posted,
MY time is relevant... yours is not. Understand?
Well, I have to admit I didn't know that, buthttp://tinyurl.com/2gp8xy
then I never use Google.
Yep, I don't post from google and I don't search for ids from google; my reader handles that
task. : D
And what you use is not what other people may be using. Just because
it works for you on your machine etc, etc.
So, you're still hallucinating about article ids working only on certain machines, eh? *shakes
head*
And maybe you could explain something. You called me a 'usenet n00b/
Google tard' in another post earlier today so could you please
enlighten as to why using Google to read/post text messages is so bad?
*snicker* Your need for me to elaborate on this is proof enough.
That's not an answer, just another irritating and typical dodge of
yours. Again, what is so bad about using Google to post/read text
messages?
Look at your problem with ids. Need I say more? Then again, now that we know you can put them
in the advanced search, there is no excuse for this ***.
Bear in mind at the moment I have the full version of Forte Agent (for
binaries) as well as Xnews (not installed at present) and OE. If I
chose to, I could put the full version of Outlook on my system as
well.
teehee Then why don't you?
Your the one trying to set yourself up as a internet/usenet wizz
Wrong.
why can't you figure it out? It's very simple.
Figure what out? Your personal motivations for using google? I never claimed to be a
psychic, tard.
And I've been using Agent since version 1.5, so I think that places it
at about 2002/3?
*looks at headers* Well, from over hear, it appears you're using Google.
Yes, I'm posting through Google groups! Where have I denied this?
*points upward* You said "I've been using Agent".
I only use Agent for downloading binaries as stated in the paragraph
above.
What sort of binaries?
Either you have big comprehension problems or (and much more
likely) you do this to irritate in an deliberate attempt to enrage
someone so you can start cross-posting to AUK and claim you've 'found'
a kook. In fact, just like you tried to cross-post to AUK with this
reply (now snipped)
Thou art a LIAR.
Bet you're downloading it now for the first time, aren't ya?
Downloading what, Agent?
The oldest version I have stored on my HD is v1.92 and that is long
unavailable.
But if you think I'm going to start suddenly posting to this group in
Agent then it's not going to happen. It's great for DLing binaries but
I hate the text posting/reading side of it. If was to start using a
newsreader I'd rather use OE (for this group anyway).
OE sucks, get Gravity.

newsreader on the same machine the links were made on."
<1175856636.569335.208030@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
"No, you had to change them [article ids] because they didn't link to anything on
anyones machine but yours. Unless of course someone has exactly the
same newsreader and reads exactly the same stuff as you."

Society scolds tarquil_fortesque_smythe_the3rd for his usage of TinyUrl:
"The source of this report is NOT "tinyurl.com" and
when they go out of business, all their links will be
gone. Please supply original sources and the names
of the publication and author(s) whose work you
are reproducing -- not everyone has a news reader
that can follow a URL given in a Usenet news post."
