Women have indeed been encouraged to "be all that they can be". With little though to what they might be, need to be, want to be as individuals, as
women in their own right, in their own nature.
[Women today have a choice to be what they can be, in spite of what
bitter boys like this one WANT them to be. Women can consider what
their "nature" is in terms of personality, not limited by sex/gender.]
Instead they were offered a vision for themselves of what feminists
say men are and what men have, a
very distorted and mendacious vision at that.
[Having choices in life is good for either sex. That women are,
today, invovled in all aspects of life shows us that women, like men,
make all kinds of different choices. Men like you may resent some of
the choices women make, but so what? ]
Men, these lying, neurotic, penis-envious, destructive, hate-filled feminists said , had 'freedom' to be promiscuous.
[Women who have equal rights don't envy what having a penis can bring,
since ...today having a penis doesn't come with any greater perks than
having a vagina. As to sexual freedoms, women have the same freedoms
men have.]
They could f*ck whenever they wanted with whomsoever they wanted. They
has 'power'. Oh yeh?
[Having the same sexual rights provides the same power to men and
women alike. Women can choose to say yes or no...just like men.]
I remember being a young man and being surrounded by strong social pressures> to behave in particular ways toward women, generally respectful ways.
[Respect should be earned rather than a mere courtesy. Perhaps you
have mistaken courtesy for respect? In either case, human beings
should be courteous to one another, regardless of sex. Sometimes they
are; sometimes they're not. You can choose to be courteous to members
of society or not. What you cannot do is break the law.]
Promiscuity in men was roundly condemned - until it was elevated to a 'woman's right' by the feminists.
[Bulldroppings. Men have always sought the services of hookers and
before women had little recourse. When polygamy was allowed for men,
adultry was the law for women. Nice game if you can convince others,
eh? Today women are taking their own sexuality the way THEY wish to
use it. Men have nothing to say about that.]
Both women in general and men in general were
united in putting limits on the younger adults and teens.
[You mean like today's laughable "purity balls"? :-) You are
mistaken here, religions have only tried to inhibit WOMEN sexually,
making girls and women responsible for social morality. I don't see
ANY men wearing diamond rings from their fathers, hoping they will
remain virgins until their wedding night.]
Limits were put on interference in marital relations. Infidelity was
discouraged and punished.
[If we consider current law in Islamic countries ONLY WOMEN are
punished for adultry; men just marry the other women. You can't
legislate morality, MCP and author, at least not in a free country
like ours. Women are not your mommies, nor your moral compass, nor do
they want that job.
That was swept away. By the mothers. Not the fathers. By women. By the
feminists and their jealousy-ridden followers. Jealous of what? What men
had? Restrictions? Demands to sacrifice? Requirement to provide? No.
Promiscuity. Hah!
[Again, if the serpant were to offer Eve the apple tody, she would
have learned from Lillith and politely declined. Women today just
want equal rights, and nothing less will do. In that regard, women
can choose to be just as promiscuous as men or...they can choose to be
celibate. In fact, with the spread of HPV, more women may choose a
celibate lifestyle from the standpoint of health preservation. In any
case it's not up to either of you.]
The 'have it all' mentality ignored the clearly derivable inclusion of the
bad with the good, the destructive with the opportunity.
[Women choose equality. And they can also make choices about their
sex lives...the good choices, the bad choices, JUST LIKE MEN. There
is a book called, "Girls Lean Back, Everywhere"; it's an account of
the fact that it wasn't really men society was attempting to regulate
by banning books, but rather, the sexuality and choices women make
about sex. Women are not your caretakers and they don't want the job
of regulating societal sexuality ...especially by placing themselves
in bondange. It's all over, fellas.]
There was no mention to our young women, by the likes of Germaine
Greer or Simone Bouvoir, or the host of hangers on and acolytes who
lusted and wanted to drop their knickers anytime and sought -insisted
on - approval from all, that there was a possibility of self-
definition that was able to delve into the essence of the Feminine and
extract the good, the wholesome, the creative, the nurturing, to
create a better woman for the modern world. A woman who could at last
be an adult, a worthy partner to her man.
[Women have no obligation to society to be any more mature than men.
You seem to think women have the job of being the better person,
taking the moral high road, so that men can slink away in the caves
and cravasses of the dark side. :-) Women are not interested in
mothering you, MCP. YOU grow up. Also, a woman is here for reasons
of HER OWN, and not to be your pitiable door mat helpmete. Shame on
you for trying to force your definition of what women should be and
choose....on women. They are choosing for themselves.]
No longer a dependant, childish, unresponsible baby-bearer. No, any
excess was encouraged. 'Find yourself' was a mantra and young women
were told to copy> the boys who had always had carte blanche to be
promiscuous. As if!
[Here, the author is suggesting that male promiscuity is ok but not
female promiscuity. He's really a hoot! It's no wonder that MCP
likes this guy; he's a total sexist just like MCP. But, in the end,
women are still doing as THEY please; girls everywhere are leaning
back and choosing the sex life they want for themselves. This isn't a
matter of "copying" boys, but simply expressing their own sexual
freedom. And the author and MCP have no way to control that.]
Girls at 14 were encouraged to think of themselves a 'maturer' than boys.
[Girls "at 14" today need not mother boys by protecting their own
sexuality. These girls are NOT societies little mothers. They are
certainly under protection of society and their parents, but they have
no obligation to be more mature than boys. ]
Narcissism took root in prepared humus. Hubris grew like a weed. Have it
ALL. You are Superwoman. I am woman hear me roar. I can have a zipless f*ck> like all the boys do. As if!
[Why would you impose double standards on girls, giving girls the
burden of being the moral compass? Why not make boys and men be their
own moral compass? Such sexist dweebs you both are.]
