From JULIE MOULT in Crete
HAUNTED John Hogan wept in court yesterday as he tried to explain WHY he killed
his son in a hotel balcony plunge.
He claimed wife Natasha's threats to leave him and take their two young children
suddenly made him snap.
The old sticks and stones argument springs to mind here; it would seem
that men want to blame women for the most atrocious actions men
perform. This is nothing new. The man was unable to handle his
EMOTIONS. It would seem that men do this sort of thing frequently,
i.e. not handle their emotions which is why male judges developed the
"heat of passion" mitigation. :-) Perhaps men should get a handle on
their emotions so they don't harm their own children while enraged.
