Do you want to know what the boys do with their big toys here in
Canada?
The machines are so huge for their mining, drilling and forestry work,
that when they break down, they just leave them where they are. It's
too
expensive to try to fix them. It's too expensive to dismantle and haul
them away. So, all these big boy toys are left in the artic and in the
wilderness to just rust away to pollute the environment. Thanks, guys!
You'll have Mother Nature to answer to!

MCP, when I look out my window, I see huge towering cedar trees. I forbid
my husband to cut those down. He recognized the wisdom of my words and
he's
extremely glad he abided by my wishes.

Good on you both!

He sees all these new sub-division
sprawling around us with nary a tree in sight and he's extremely happy we
have all our wonderful huge trees on our property. We have our own
mini-climate, a sort of environmental bubble, that generates clean fresh
air just for us. It's cool for the summer, and protected in winter...and
hubby is in his glory! The big black teddy bears love it, too. ;-)

Sounds wonderful. Trees don't grow all that well where I live (too much
wind coming off the water), but we do have a few shorter trees in our yard,
along with lots of shrubs, flowers and of course, a view of the ocean. It's
never too hot or too cold here.
