Given that more females enter college than men and that there is
'positive' discrimination to make sure females get hired, we might
expect females to earn more than men.

But women are NOT hired ahead of men. Most men get jobs thru nepotism,
not even going thru a big application process. And many companies
discriminate against women by simply refusing to hire them or just
having a token woman.


Economics determines wages. Men take the best paid jobs and they don't
worry about their fingernails.

Gee, that would seem to be a negative if the man is a banker, lawyer,
doctor, or other professional. Perhaps that's why the cream rises.
People who know how to clean and care for their fingernails will
probably make a better impression. So, what are you suggesting, that
we leave the ditch digging....to men?
