So I guess that you have to do it judiciously. I don't get my hair
at Supercuts any more. Their treatment of men in their advertising is
vile, and it's fairly easy to find a local barber not affiliated with
any national chain.
It's ALL about choices and I'm glad that you have yours, too.
Marg
Using the logic of feminism, supercuts should pay for 1/2 of GA's salon
bill since they "co-created" his need to go to another service. :-)
Balderdash! He could just let his hair grow.
I was being facetious. Nevermind.
Back to the topic: He could just shave his head or
go for a homemade crew cut. Come to think of it, as I
said in another thread, most of the crap that's being sold
is just that: crap that we can live without.
That's why madison avenue has a team of shrinks
trying to get into people's heads to get them to buy it!
Historians are going to look back and view early 21st
century American women as perhaps the most
manipulated, power hungry creatures on the planet:
To keep up with the joneses, a typically empowered
career women will blow thousands on shoes that
make her feel uncomfortable to impress other women and
spend money on disposable products to "save time"
after being stuck for hours in commuter traffic
to escape the city to get back home to her overpriced
suburban McCastle.
Sheesh! My _cat_ is less resistant to manipulation.
After a while, even HE realizes that he's not
going to catch the toy on a stick and gives up. :-)
I have nothing against SuperCuts but I prefer to go to local Salons
in our little Vietnamese strip mall because they do such an
incredible job for about the same price.
I cut my own hair and my husband's. It saves a lot of money.
Anyways, welcome back Marg!
regards,
PolishKnight (aka Mark Sobolewski)
It's good to be back. Thanks.
Marg
