Hello. My name is Alric Knebel, and I was more or less invited into this newsgroup by someone I met in another newsgroup, in some fierce thread over the Duke rape case. The real star of the thread was one Kenneth Pangborn. He was a condescending, desperate, and snide blowhard. He wanted so desperately to be smart, he intentionally misconstrued anything I said so he could teach me a thing or two, addressing points that didn't really need addressing. Then, suddenly, I was besieged by a circle of sock puppets. Did you ever see that movie "Open Waters"? It was like that, except all the sharks had these great big teeth made out of styrofoam colored with crayons, and they were making a big fuss of circling and snapping. Then some wise person told me who and what I was really dealing with. I laughed. The wise person provided a website all about this insane fucker, Kenneth Pangborn. I laughed even harder. Then I got on a roll, and wanted to laugh even HARDER. So I dedicated a single page to him in my own webspace. Here it is:
