A group of women created this memorial to the "brave men of the
Titanic" who died so that women and children could live.

That's really nice, but . . . um . . . well . . .

Can you find anything more recent?

How about the world trade center bombing.Aside from the innocent people who
were killed by the blast, all of the rescuers who were killed were Men. All
of the firemen were men. Even all of the rescue dogs were male, most of them
have died since from injuries and complications of their job.

Ken, why would we _need_ anything more recent? Why do you suspect that
women owe some generica debt of gratitude to men?

Because men do all of the dangerous life threatening work. Having a baby is
not life threatening lol

Tell that to the number of women who have died from childbirth related
ailments. We aren't buying your snake oil, hon, and we aren't giving
men undue gratituded. Patriarchy ....is dead.
