True, true... feminists can say whatever, but it is mere words...
dealing with women on an everyday basis has taught me to know that

I couldn't help but notice on this week's Foreign Exchange with Fareed
Zakaria the interview with author / professor / women's advocate Azar
Nafisi. Fareed asked a question regarding democracy and western values and
how many in the middle east embrace the former but reject the latter. Her
response was to the effect that she did not know what western values meant
and went on to re-frame the question to one which included women being
stoned in Afghanistan. It was an obvious skirting of the question (pardon
the pun).
