Because they aren't capable of killing anyone else. The victim is
either young, or very old, or sleeping, or unsuspecting, or unarmed and
attacked with a weapon. She can't fight a man straight on and kill
him, and she'd get hurt trying.

Accused murderers typically use the defense most likely to work. In
her case, she has to say she's insane, or she may as well plead guilty.
It's the court's job to call bull*** and send her up for life. If
she were crazy enough to get away with this, she'd be living in a
mental home. She was not.
"But Greg," they sob, "She's not likely to reoffend." Sure she is. At
24, how many more kids can she have, abuse, and kill? You can't stop
her from having kids, unless you put her in prison for life, which is
exactly what they should do.

The needle would suit me fine, but I understand that Australia doesn't
have capital punishment. No problem, but send her up for good.
