[It's very good, MCP, that you are willing to not that the patriarchal
model is continuing to be eroded. Confession is good for the soul and
a first step in a program toward recovery. :-)]

[The definition of progress, or what you call "civilization" is
certainly open to interpretation here. Some people may feel that
destruction vis a vis war is one way to implement civilization; others
may feel there are better ways. In any event, today, the world is
evolving away from patriarchy, even in third world countries,
constitutions are being drafted and the equality of women considered,
sometimes for the first time. ]

Men, he argues, only aim to be productive, civilized and protective of
women and children when they were rewarded by the love of women and the
legitimacy of their own children.

[His statement iems a lie. To say men "only aim" is already a lie.
Like women, men's aims are varied and multi-dementional. AND, men also
batter, rape and kill women, so obviously, men also have other "aims".
Perhaps this man is a sexist.]

In matriarchal societies, where women are promiscuous, owe loyalty to
no-one but
> themselves and where children belong to their mother and her only, men have no motivation or desire to strive for success or to give a *** about women and children, and so the whole society doesn't progress and struggles just to survive.

[Another lie that can be proven by comparing societies that relegate
women to second class vs. societies that implement equal rights.
America is one of the wealthiest countries and seems to be doing more
"surviving" than Afghanistan, no? As to men "caring", in an equal
society, women don't have to depend on the caring of men. So what's
the problem? Egalitarian women and men will continue to care...about
one another. Sexists will be left out in the cold. ]
