Define "win". There wasn't much US support in 1941 and 1942, Lend-Lease
taking time to get going, and by that time Germany was definitely not
winning.

The Soviets couldn't have won nearly as big without Lend-Lease and
other Western support, but they pretty much avoided losing on their
own.

As for any claim about moral superiority by Soviet supporters - I also wish
to highlight the fact that the Soviets were allied to the Nazis in the
invasion of Poland in 1939.

I wouldn't want to appear to claim moral superiority for the Soviet Union,
but (a) the British were dealing with Germany before 1939, and (b) the
Soviets were more interested in an alliance with Britain and France
in the summer of 1939. The alliance with Germany was second choice,
and followed some thoroughly inept Western diplomacy.
