If you don't, do you think attempting to distort Hitler's service in World War One serves our historical understanding of him very well?
I don't think you have any justification whatsoever for this rather outlandish comment.
It appears consistent with your overall depiction of Hitler in past discussions.
I don't believe that is an correct characterization of his service.
At best, he was a combat rifleman for 10 days, followed by 4 years as a largely unarmed auxiliary like a pioneer or stretcher-bearer.
I don't think this is an accurate definition of the term or of Hitler's service.
