No reason to have them in the towers at Manzanar at all
and I don't believe any were. If you can credibly show that
the Manzanar towers were ever manned by soldiers with
machine guns (pointed anywhere) let's have it. As noted
before the MPs had Thompson sub-machine guns which
had to be used in self defense during the infamous riots of
1942 but they weren't in the towers.

Also, even if they were "pointed out", anyone with even a modicum
of training could "point them in" at a moment's notice.

Or vice versa, of course. That's why this baloney about them being
"pointed inward" is nothing but disingenuous hype in an effort to label

the relocation centers "concentration" camps hoping that images
of the Nazi death camps will register in uninformed minds.
