I wasn't asking how they think or feel about
it, I was asking how they _refer_ to it.

If an American refers to the fall of France, the
Battle of Britain, the sinking of BISMARCK, the
siege of Tobruk, or the Kiev pocket, it's as part
of World War II.

Americans have no special name for their parts
of the war.

The Soviets did and the Russians, I guess, still
do. The question is: what term do they use for
the rest of the war?
