Then why do they not buy books on that history? Why are there
very few to no TV historical shows about Eastern Europe? Why

But you don't want to get it, no matter what anyone says.

I wonder if it's because of the ragged nature of Eastern European
borders and so much cross-continent migration that there is a reduced
sense of cohesive culture. That, and the nature of Communism and the
propaganda surrounding it during much of the 20th century, when much
East European history was subjective and unreliable.

Could be, but I am not talking about the sale of Bulgarian history
books to Bulgarians. I am talking about the sale of Bulgarian
history books written in English to English readers.

And I believe that's what William is talking about.
