Well, my Orkney archeaology holiday has ended and I start the two-day
journey back to the US late this morning(two days because the three flights
needed don't mesh otherwise).
It has been a fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable--if at times exhausting
8-) -- 6 days of history immersion for one as history-living as I am! It's
been a shorter trip than I've taken for years, a choice to allow me to have
a private tour with an expert I don't periodically stump with my questions.
I may never be able to join a group again!


What happened in the Orkneys to merit 6 days delving in situ?
