Yes, people are starting to see the light instead of projecting the

special case to the rest of Europe.

We Brits project the "British special case" only to Britain because we are
an island and geographically and culturally separate from Continental
Europe.

Yeah, and Continental Europe is grateful for that. At least we eat decent
meals, drive on the right side of the road and haven't got bad teeth.

Oh wait, you were the one who insisted using the term "Dark Ages" when
discussing Late Antiquity / Early Medieval times ...
No projection ? Hmmmmm
