Just passing by to drink once more from the
elixir of shm.
Six long years...
I recognise a few names - hi Paul Gans,
Bryn, William Black, Renia and
all - and I'm glad to see some history is
still discussed every 500
posts or so. However, I'm a little
disappointed that I've read over a
thousand posts and nobody seems to have
discussed roman stirrups or
the battle of Hastings. What's wrong with
the modern generation - is
there no respect for the old traditions any
more?
A propos, I see the old Deus Vulture
squawks on, although he seems
to have lost a couple of his flock - what
happened to Pete the Picky
Parakeet? Any additions to the Bestiary of
Buffoons?

There was a nefarious troll a while back, a
chattering simian creature, who went by the
name of "Professor Marvel" though he was
neither professorial nor marvellous. I
kicked his greasy *** into orbit.
