True only at the very lower end, Renia. Most servers actually are
purpose-built to be servers and you buy them just for that. The
internal architecture of the systems tends to be different from what
you find on a desktop.

Mine has 200gb and it's not a server. But my husband has 3 servers at work
which aren't a lot bigger. Two of them mirror each other. They weren't
specially-built as servers, as far as I know.

Server just means that your computer provides a service to other computers,
or clients. It's a role not an architecture.

Naturally when you centralize work on a system you need a sturdy computer,
so usually servers are larger and have more resources, but not necessarily a
different architecture, much as architectural changes may be added, like
dual or multi-processor cores, high-speed I/O cards, etc. But those
features can be found in non-server workstations that may need them.
