I can't read German but there will be someone here
who can sort it out. I think Mittelalterliche Hausbuch von
Schloss Wolfegg 1480 will show you a wagonburg of about
the right date. i couldn't find an on line illustration but again a
German speaker might be able to.
The illustration that is reproduced in 'The History of the Carriage'
by Laszlo Tarr shows a wagon fortification such as was used by
the hussites. The wagons are circled like a wagon train
attacked by indians in an old cowboy film. They are in a
double circle with the tents etc inside. An attempt seems to
have been made to reinforce the protection by digging a ditch
around the circle. A substantial gateway of stakes has been
constructed and it would seem they have been there some time
as the corpses of horses outside the camp that are being
gnawed by dogs have been almost reduced to skeletons.
There's a problem with that illustration.
It's of an Imperial or Bergundian camp and not Hussites.
You can tell because of the double headed eagle standard in the centre of
the camp.
The arms on the tents are probably of towns and cantons.
Oh yes, and it's one of the few pictures of an exchequer in use; under the
penthouse on the right hand side...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.
