Nothing hurts quite as much..
Actually didn't expect to be so upset over losing an animal. It was tragic.
We thought we could lessen the pain by having a lot of dogs the same time. All we did was make it worse. We were greatly surprised by our sense of loss for each one.
We have a new puppy, however

-another british black lab that my kids have affectionally called FENRIR (my one son's middle name is TYR) -called FENN for short. He's eating everything in the house!
Ha! He will taste everything before all his teeth come through..
