using the local history of something as a source of inspiraction for their
fiction? If there were bible inscription contemporary with the other
inscriptions you would be comparing apples to apples. As it is you are
comparing inscriptions to a collection of written materials which have no
provenance called the OT.
I have explained to you - in detail - why the sources were not
available, and therefore could not be used in such a way as you
allege. Since you are the one making the claim that the sources were
used by the LXX writers, then present evidence that they indeed did
so.
And as I pointed out there is no basis to assume any single inscription was the only source of the same information. Therefore the unprovenanced inscriptions, even if legitimate, cannot be assumed to be the only source of the information.
You're making that claim, so the burden of proof is squarely on you.
I simply said without the assumption you are making there is nothing which can be said about the inscription. And as I did note the Library at Alexandria would have been available to those who created the Septuagint there was clearly a major source of information available. And as Alexander had a habit of collecting (stealing in our terminology) all the written materials he could carry away there were certainly sources of information before the library was built.
The rest is based upon the assumption that the inscriptions, if legitimate, were the only sources of the information available to anyone in any form.
That assumption has to be made to consider them corroboration. There is no evidence of that. There is no reason to assume that.
