So a training in paleontology would reveal that there /were/ connectionsTo the extent that a link has been suggested between SE Asia & theIn other words there is no evidence whatsoever predating European
middle east, it always seems to be a very old one going back to the
Sumerians etc. I haven't heard about any connection with IE speakers,
who emerged much later.
colonisation of Asia let alone Greek and Roman rule.
You have a historians view of prehistory. The study of preliterate
people is simply a field in which you have no training or experience,
so you choose to ignore it.
between the Middle East and SE Asia? Tell me more (didya get very far?)
There is a bit of prehistory that comes after paleontology & before
the invention of writing. Call it what you will. I'm not aware of any
scholar who has made a definate statement to the effect that the study
of this period will reveal any such link, but in vague & none too
specific ways one or two of them suggest that might have been. I don't
particularly recommend that you take any of it very seriously unless
you're interested in folklore, mythology & that kind of stuff.
