The Indus Valley civilization was perhaps the first civilization that
acquired the concept of a single God. The lack of inter city warfare,
lack of separate (or any ) deities , the similarity in construction

period of time testify that the IVC was made possible by means of a
concept that promoted unity and was inclusive. Since religion was much
more important than it is today that unifying force could only have
come from a religion that subscribed to a single God.
The Indus elite migrated to their sister Sumar civilization and it was
in Ur that the Indus elders passed on this concept to Prophet Ibrahim
(Abraham) pbuh.

If you have an earlier example please post it.
