The more important the claim, the more proof you need to provide!

For us to believe that Sophocles lived to the age of 90, does not
compare with the claim that Jesus existed. As such the amount of proof
required for the latter claim is much more.

Note: Before you explode I do believe that a historical Jesus did exist.
