Re: to Markovic differences in British-English and American English grammar

The differences between British-English Grammar and American English
Grammar are there, no matter what most here thinks. One proof for
that is that Cambridge do have both British-English Grammar and
American English Grammar.
[...]
So before you Markovic abuse me more,
you had better read the texts in url:s above.
Inger E
Markovic is not abusing you, he only gives his
opinion, and I agree with him.
The problem is not a difference between
English and American syntax or spelling.
The problem is that it is often extremely
difficult to understand your texts.
Take for example what you wrote tuesday evening in
"Challenge for naysayers of the Kensington Runestone"
in SciA, SHM and SHN:
" Well some of the articles/sections are good, but
there are many more that show same type of
careless scholarship not to say deep faults that
normally hasn't been seen not even in the most
popular-history 'works' that more than one should
have expected from 'that' corner. "
As you know, I have honestly tried to analyse that
sentence, but I still don't understand wat you tried
to say.
That is the problem. There is no point in writing here
if nobody understands what you are trying to say.
And don't forget: my basic English is the same as
your English. The difference is in the way we are
using it.
