sounds like a family myth of the later Silva-Tarouca family, creating a
fictitious MALE line in their roots. They surely were posing to take a
royal crown over all Iberia... :)
'the Deacon' (el diacono) as byname is one of those kings or almost-kings
in early-medieval Iberian history whom we have also tried to fix to the
genealogy in discussions of this group.
