Google Groups goes its own way

Messages posted on Google Groups are no longer being distributed
outside Google Groups. This means that those who access this
group through a real news server won't see anything posted by
people like John P. Ravilious, Christopher Ingham, Matt Tompkins,
Bronwen or Douglas Richardson, and these GG users in turn will
start wondering why they are not getting any reactions from
certain people who might be expected to reply.

If this continues, it's going to disrupt all dialogue in the
group.
