If Sandra E. Oman is, or was, an employee of the Family History Library, the odds are that she would be credentialed: an Accredited Genealogist or a Certified Genealogist. If she isn't, It makes the claim of employment
there more problematic.
Neil Thompson and Paul Reed would be much more familiar with the people in that department and their
abilities.

Subject: Re: Hoby/Hobby/Hobye
Does anyone know a 'Sandra E. Oman', or can help me identify a source
for the following,
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=search_all1.asp&clear_form=true
The link relates to a submission to IGI's Pedigree Resource File,
which I would normally dismiss out of hand. However, I had not seen
any other record of this 'Mawd Hoby', so I decided to have a look to
see if I could identify who 'Sandra E.Oman' was. On another website
she is reported as having been a researcher at the Mediaeval research
department at Salt Lake City,
'We have become aware recently of extensive and ongoing research by
Sandra E. Oman of the Mediaeval research department at Salt Lake City.
Sandra has as a result extensive pedigrees and links some ..'
http://www.vawer.co.uk/Historical.htm
Now I don't know whether this is correct, or just an interpretation
from IGI, but I was hoping that one of you may be able to help me. If
she is a serious researcher it gives me something else to look at and
apparently from a different source to my other records.
Thank you.
Neil
