Fw: Fw: Fw: Where is Hines???

I agree Gen-Med is a community, but a community with a purpose. What is the purpose of Gen-Med? To help others by discussing medieval genealogy and history. All else should be OFF-Topic.
Hines could not care less. His main "contribution" was defiling other people, quibbling even about spelling errors, the pettyier the better as far as he was concerned.
Many other people have faded away from Gen-Med and no-one is asking why. If Hines has departed we should quietly hold our breath and wonder will it last.
To be the "good shepherd" ignoring all but being concerned about the one lost (black) sheep, what will that achieve? I am in Australia, you are in Greece. How many are there in Hawaii who could stepforward and say, your concern is off-topic but as you are concerned we/I will take steps to see what is the matter?
By showing so publicly your concern for him, you sent one message: "You have justified his behaviour and obviously his presence is appreciated". I wonder how many people need to be reminded of the "contributions" of Spencer Hines?
With best wishes

concerned about him is one thing, but I wonder how many people on
Gen-Med are in touch with him to be able to ask him "how are you"? And
why would that be? If you found out something is the matter, would you
rush over to Hawaii to tend to him? If that is not your intention, what
is the good of wondering "is anything the matter with him?" If nothing
is the matter, you may now have revived him and he will return to
Gen-Med "because people are concerned about him". If something is the
matter, we may never know------------that's life.

That is, indeed, life. But, this is a community and it is a sum of its
parts, some better than others. Personally, I wish no ill to any member
of our community.
