count Gomez Gonzalvez de Manzanedo's career appears to have positions held in 1150s, and attestations already sometime in 1140s. And his death would occur in 1180s.
According to better reconstruction, Gomez Gonzalvez's father was that Gonzalvo, apparently of the dynasty of Manzanedo, who was himself attested in 1114.
So, count Gomez Gonzalvez would been born probably in 1110s.
as such, he suits and fits well to be husband of countess Melia, daughter of Pedro Gonzalvez de Lara.
Melia would herself been born perhaps before 1130.
The count Gomez Gonzalvez is in no way obviously younger than Melia de Lara.
Their children (concluded from their careers and attestations) would been born on 1150s and seemingly before c1170.

there quite possibly were later men named Gomez Gonzalvez, but probably, a careful reading will show that none could been this count.
