the hypothetical agnatic descent from counts of Castilla
================================================
this couple, countess Ava and her husband count Garzia Fernandez,
http://genealogics.org/getperson.php?personID=I00106135&tree=LEO
attestedly had a younger son,
Gonzalvo, who is attested as such in 978.
A magnate of the same name, Gonzalvo Garzia, appears in documentation in 1011, in a context not inconceivable for a member of Ava's and Garzia's family.
This guy is the one who seemingly has descendants along the following lines:
http://genealogics.org/descend.php?personID=I00454066&tree=LEO
The question is the identification between the 978 Gonzalvo Garzia and the 1011 Gonzalvo Garzia
* somehow the high-medieval Lara dynasty of counts had tradition of kinship/descent from counts of Castile
.
