Actually, it's the other way around.

There are people, here, who have been doing genealogy for decades, some of us, professionally at some time, including myself. Each of us has areas of "expertise" or "experience" in one field or area or another. None of us knows it all, hence, we come here to share ideas and info.

You come along, with one theory, and these same newsgroup people, using their decades of experience, disagree with you. Because we disagree with you, you accuse US of having a complete lack of understanding of the topic.

What you really mean, is it is YOU who has a complete misunderstanding of the topic, because WE do not agree with YOU.
