Re: possible Skipwith maternity of Elizabeth (Dale) Rogers

"Promissory estoppel" means to STOP. It is for personal property.

I have a book of probate abstracts covering the period 1653-1800.
There are no probate records for Diana Dale. And there is no mention
of an estate for her in the court records--there would have been a
mention of it when the administrator was appointed.

We know from other sources that Diana Dale had a proven nephew in
MIddlesex County (which is adjacent to Lancaster)--her brother Grey's
only child, Sir William Skipwith. Don't you understand?--the
"promissory estoppel" *stopped* her estate. It means Diana Dale had
an heir of her body, and that was Elizabeth (Dale) Rogers.

And Nat--you've seen the movie Caddyshack, right? You remind me of
the stuffed shirt Ted Knight played. You're a snob. If you think I'm
declasse, that's OK. That doesn't hurt my feelings.

Are you kidding? Absolutely to die intestate means to die without a
will. Look it up in a dictionary. That's kindergarten stuff. I've
told you several times to check this out with someone you respect, and
I think you have--and they told you it's the truth.

You're running out of steam--and for a gasbag like you, that's saying
something. You're a snob. If you think I'm declasse, that's OK. You
remind me of the stuffed shirt Ted Knight played in "Caddyshack."

Evidently MichaelAnne Guido is a coward. I don't understand her
failure to appear--can't she answer for herself?
