Regardless of how many repsonses my posts elicited, this is a simple
matter.
However MichaelAnne Guido located the William Rogers/Edward Dale
lawsuit, she had to know it was the only one.
Every day in this newsgroup someone challenges the source of
information posted by somebody. There should not be a double
standard. It's fair to ask Ms. Guido about her sources.
I therefore challenge MichaelAnne Guido to produce her source for the
following statement made on May 11, 2006:
"There were a number of lawsuits between Edward Dale and William
Rogers in the period 1693-1695 and at the time Edward Dale wrote his
will he was angry at William Rogers. One of these entries follows:"
I further challenge her to state her source for the court entry that
follows. Did she take it from Sparacio, or did she take it from the
original entry books?
Now you're on the right track. If you want to challenge her statement,
ask for her evidence. If you want to know whether she quoted the court
order from Sparacio's transcription or not, ask her.
She hasn't posted to this group since 16 May 2006 and perhaps does not
read it these days. You might be better off sending her a nice note.
By the way, Jeff, as you know there were well over one hundred posts
devoted to the Skipwith / Dale / Rogers (etc.) question back in 2006. Do
you have a more substantive purpose in reopening this discussion, or do
you just want to vent some more spleen against Ms. Guido after 2 1/2
years? Assuming Ms. Guido misspoke about one or several Rogers - Dale
lawsuits,
I don't see how it changes the genealogical issues substantively.
