Dear Marianne ~
Thank you for your Plantagenet Ancestry book order. Much
appreciated.
You can find the extended ancestry of Sir James Harrington (died 1497)
and his wife, Isabel Ratcliffe, traced in Jim Weber's great online
database at the following weblink:
http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=PED&db=jweber&id=I04195&style=TEXT
Sir James Harrington has a proven double descent from Eleanor de
Furnival, wife of Sir John de Verdun (died 1295), of Bressingham,
Norfolk. Eleanor de Furnival in turn is a proven lineal descendant of
King Henry I of England, son of William the Conqueror, King of
England.
Eleanor de Furnival is also a proven descendant of Sir Richard de Lucy
(died 1179), Justiciar of England, whose wife, Rohese of Boulouge, has
many multiple descents from Charlemagne. For the newly discovered
identity of Rohese of Boulogne, see my posts in the newsgroup
archives.
This weblink will take you to Eleanor de Furnival's extended ancestry
in Jim Weber's database:

For your interest, I've copied below my file account of Sir James
Harrington and his wife, Isabel Radcliffe.
Best always, Douglas Richardson, Salt Lake City, Utah

< This would be my line too. I just bought Douglas Richardson's
book, "Plantagenet Ancestry" and should receive it soon. My Mother has
three different lineages going back to the British Peerage and the
Plantagenets including this line in the British Peerage. That book has
over 900 pages. Thanks for answering and sharing this line with me.
