Dear All
Has anyone done any research on the above family. It seems I have two
connections.
Sir Ralph Fitzgeremund Lord of Alfreton married a daughter Avenel de Haddon
(possible daughter of William de Avenel of Haddon.)
Also
Another unnamed daughter of William de Avenel married Simon Bassett of
Sapcote.
I believe these two unnamed daughters to be sisters, if anyone has come
across this name I would be pleased to here from you.
