Why is it so hard for you to understand my point that no line is "proven" ?
The word is mis-used if you try to use it in a genealogically context.
Lines are supported, there is evidence for lines, better or worse, they are
never "proven".
This isn't religion here.

Just to try to sprinkle a little water on the embers, I think she may
have used the term "proven" in the sense that a will is "proven" in
terms of the conventional language.
