Does anyone know of any people named GWRGENEU, GWRGAN, or any other
variations, in Wales in the later 1200's through the 1400's? The latest I
have been able to find are in the early 1200's.
I'm trying to see if there's any connection with this name and my GURGANY or
GURGANUS surname which first appears in England in the 1500's. If there is
a connection, it would seem logical that there would be more cases, rather
than it reappearing after 300 years.
Thanks
